After breakfast in Arusha, you will depart with your private driver-guide for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately two to three hours.

Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a full afternoon game drive exploring riverbanks, open savannas, and woodland areas where lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo are frequently seen.

In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular half-day game drive.

This UNESCO-listed caldera is home to dense concentrations of wildlife, including elephants, lions, hippos, hyenas, buffalo, and rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool before continuing wildlife viewing across the crater floor.

In the afternoon, begin your journey toward the Serengeti, passing Maasai villages and sweeping highland scenery.

Arrive in the central Serengeti in time for dinner and overnight at Tukaone Bush Camp.

Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives.

This region offers excellent chances to see big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of plains game. Depending on the season, you may encounter migrating wildebeest and zebra.

Return to Tukaone Bush Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

This is one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations, renowned for its thriving predator populations and sweeping savannas dotted with acacia trees and rocky kopjes. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and large herds of zebra and wildebeest are commonly encountered. Depending on the season, you may also follow sections of the Great Migration.

Your driver-guide will tailor the day’s route according to wildlife movements and recent sightings, maximizing your chances of exceptional encounters and photography. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush before continuing the safari into the afternoon.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and begin your scenic overland journey back to Arusha.

The route passes through the Ngorongoro highlands and rural villages, offering dramatic landscapes and glimpses of everyday Tanzanian life. Picnic lunch will be served en route.

Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon where your safari concludes, or onward airport transfer can be arranged to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
