Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park on a scenic drive of approximately two to three hours.

Tarangire is famous for its towering baobab trees, seasonal river system, and large elephant herds. Enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and an impressive array of birdlife.

In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
